Welcome to Balint Z. Kacsoh's research page!

Thanks for visiting! Currently, I work as a PhD. candidate in the lab of Dr. Giovanni Bosco (Bosco Lab), which resides in the Vail building at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, Hanover, NH.  In the lab we explore many aspects of biology--including genetics, behavior, and neuroscience. I am particularly interested in what are the underlying genetics and neural circuitry that govern behavior and am utilizing Drosophila to answer this question. I want to share my discoveries and ideas with the world and invite you to take a look at this site to learn more about the questions I ask, the approaches I am currently trying to utilize and my published works. Check out the blog section for other interesting studies and scientific stories!
